Distress over noise, particularly from helicopters flying to and from , has reached a fever pitch this summer.
over Jessup's Neck in Noyac has made the months of July and August unbearable, some residents say. We know residents leave complaints on the airport's hotline number and have in recent weeks, but we'd like to hear from you hear.
But for those of us who live away from these routes, it can sometimes be difficult to comprehend the volume and the noise level. So, this Labor Day weekend — starting Friday and ending Monday evening — we invite readers who live with the noise to tell us about it.
Leave a comment below logging the time of the noise, the type of aircraft (helicopter, jet, etc.), where you are located and describe the noise. Also please include whether the aircraft is headed to or from the airport. Any additional information available is welcome.
