Dec. 23: Jazz Night, Holiday Lights, and Girls Basketball Win

With just two days before Christmas, you are sure to be busy, so here's what you need to know about Thursday.

Not much by way of events going on around town today since Christmas is just two days away, and people are busy doing last minute shopping, wrapping, and even getting ahead on cooking. But, here's what you need to know about Thursday.

2. LT Burger in Sag Harbor will host an evening of jazz with Brian Downing. Specials are offered that include barbeque and cocktails. Reservations can be made, or you can just show up. It's a nice way to spend some downtime before the holiday.

5. East Hampton varsity girls basketball won against Bayport-Blue Point last night at home, 38 - 34. They donned shirts that said "Katy's Challenge," to show support for Jim Stewart, an East Hampton High School teacher, whose 10 year old daughter has a rare form of cancer. East Hampton Patch asks that we all keep Katy and the Stewart family in our prayers over the holiday.
