Monday

FLAG CEREMONY: In honor of Veterans Day, a ceremony will be held at the Montauk Playhouse Community Center, at the Suzanne Koch Gosman Flagpole, starting at 10 a.m. Boy and Girl Scout troops will honor the veterans. Lori Hubbard will perform patriotic songs, and refreshments will be served in the Senior nutrition Center Dining Room afterwards. The community is invited to attend.

Tuesday

WORK SESSION: The East Hampton Town Board will hold a work session at the Montauk Fire Department, at 11 a.m.

STAGED READING: The Naked Stage theater group will present "Schmucks" by Jon Robin Baitz, featuring Isaac Klein, Joe Pallister, Josh Perl, Dan Renkin, Kate Mueth, Josh Gladstone, Stephen Hamilton, and Robert Anthony, at Guild Hall in East Hampton at 7:30 p.m. There is no admission charge.

SCHOOL BOARD MEETING: The Amagansett School Board will meet to discuss district issues at 7:30 p.m.

ZONING BOARD: The East Hampton Town Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at Town Hall at 7:30 p.m.

LITTER COMMITTEE: The East Hampton Town Litter Committee will meet at Town Hall at 3:30 p.m.

FILM: "Moonrise Kingdom" will be shown at the Montauk Library at 7 p.m. Screening is free to attend.

TOWN BOARD: The East Hampton Town Board will meet at Town Hall at 7 p.m.

PLAY: "Joe Sent Me," an original musical written by Eric Jacobson and produced by the Jacobson Center for the Performing Arts, will be performed at Guild Hall in East Hampton on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 and 7 p.m. A non-traditional murder mystery revolving around 7 dancers at Texas Guinan’s 300 Club, tickets are $35 in advance, $45 at the door, and $25 for matinees.

Friday

VILLAGE BOARD: The East Hampton Village Board will meet at the Emergency Services Building at 11 a.m.

TRIVIA NIGHT: Citizens for Access Rights will host a fall trivia night at the American Legion Hall in Amagansett at 7 p.m. Teams of four can register in advance for $25 per person (singles can also enter and will be put on a team). Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $30 at the door. All proceeds will go to CfAR to protect beach access.

PERFORMANCE: Icepack Tali, Joey 'The Godfather' Martinez, and Paul 'Homefries' Glazer, will play blues and rock at East Hampton Bowl, starting at 9 p.m. Cover: $5

Saturday

CHRISTMAS FAIR: The Montauk School will hold its annual Christmas Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

GALLERY TALK: John Berg was the art director for Columbia Records and was nominated for 29 Grammys and won four during his 25-year career designing over 5,000 record covers. Berg will give a talk at Guild Hall in East Hampton at 11 a.m. The exhibit is on display until January.

AUTHOR TALK: Elizabeth Laytin, the author of "Come Here, Go Away," at the East Hampton Library at 1 p.m.

EXHIBIT OPENING: The Eric Firestone Gallery in East Hampton presents an exhibition of new works by Gregory Johnston with an opening reception from 4 to 7 p.m.

CHOWDER DINNER: The Springs Fire Department will hold a clam chowder dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. All you can eat for $15 or take out for $20.

TURKEY RAFFLE: The Montauk Fire Department's annual Turkey Raffle will send some lucky folks home with a turkey, a ham, and all the fixins', starting at 7 p.m.

HOLIDAY CARDS FOR SOLDIERS: The East Hampton Library will host a community service project for teens from 3 to 4 p.m. Students in eighth to twelfth grades are asked to create holiday cards for deployed and wounded soldiers.
