Boaters Rescued After Sailboat Overturns in Bay
Volunteer ocean rescue squad also tow boat back to shore.
The East Hampton Volunteer Ocean Rescue Squad, along with the and East Hampton Marine Patrol responded to an overturned sailboat Sunday afternoon near the end of Barnes Hole Road. All people on board were brought safely to shore, and the boat was righted and towed back to the beach by the Ocean Rescue Squad.
