Meet the Candidates! Sean McCaffrey for Trustee

Sean McCaffrey

Sean McCaffrey was born in Southampton and raised in Wainscott. He graduated from Most Holy Trinity School and East Hampton High School. He grew up fishing, hunting, trapping, clamming, and boating on the waters of East Hampton with family and friends.

After attending college in upstate New York, Sean returned to Wainscott to join his family’s landscape business, JMcC, Ltd. He lives in Springs with his wife, Karen, and their daughters, Megan and Kerrie, and his faithful dog, Patsy. He enjoys fishing and boating with his family and teaching them about the waters of East Hampton Town. While he is good at fishing, his daughter Kerrie might just be a little better.

​Sean has worked to protect East Hampton’s waters over the last several years as part of the Harbor Management Committee, an advisory committee that works directly with the Trustees.

​Sean will work to continue the Trustee tradition of protection of the town’s natural resources as well as the rights of the town’s people to enjoy those resources.
