LIPUMP Public Comment Ongoing Through April 30
The DEC will be holding public hearings next week regarding the Long Island Pesticide Use Management Plan. Written public comments will be accepted through April 30.
The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation will be holding public hearings next week, on April 3 and April 4, regarding the Long Island Pesticide Use Management Plan (LIPUMP).
After years of study and discussion, the public is invited to comment on the plan.
The DEC will also accept written public comments through April 30, 2013.

The hearings will be held on:
April 3, 2013: 7-9 PM at the Suffolk County Community College Eastern Campus on 121 Speonk-Riverhead Road in Riverhead, NY
Shinnecock 101 is the meeting room.
April 4, 2013: 7-9 PM at the Morrelly Homeland Security Center on 510 Grumman Road West in Bethpage, NY.
The hearing will be in in the Main Conference Room.

on the Draft Strategy, by 5pm April 30, 2013
