Surf Lodge Goes Skiing

Owners of the Montauk hotspot will open the "Snow Lodge" in Park City, Utah.

Montauk’s Surf Lodge is expanding, The New York Post reported Tuesday.

The South Fork hotspot hopes to be just a big a hit in Park City, Utah, where it will open another location soon. The "Snow Lodge" will be located at Canyons Resort.

According to Page Six, owner Jayma Cardoso said there is nothing quite like their "après-ski" concept in Park City.

Last year, as readers may recall, the Surf Lodge was embroiled with the Town of East Hampton over a massive amount of code violations. After the restaurant-hotel-nightspot was sold to Cardoso, a settlement was reached, including a $100,000 fine.

Think the 'Snow Lodge' will be a success? Tell us in the comments below.

Given the respect that the Surf Lodge owners have shown for the environment in Montauk, here's some advice for skiers at the Lodge: don't eat the yellow snow.

I mean surf lodge is chill I guess but if ur looking to really NAIL it the PBG(point bar and grill)is the spot. Noodles surving up the freeeessshheest pickle backs and big vinny on the 1's and 2's dishing out all our favorite top40 tunes. Recipe for a sloppy black out make out personally that's the only way to go out on the east egg. No one asking u what ur salary is or what u drive. Just do u have a condom?
