Ring in 2014 with Extravagant Dinners, Champagne Parties on the South Fork

From Montauk to Southampton, there's plenty going on around the South Fork on Dec. 31.

A new year is right around the corner, so what are your New Year's Eve plans? If you don't have any yet, there's still time to make some so you ring in 2014 while having a good time.

• "Party Like Gatsby" at Gurney's Inn for its 51st annual New Year's Eve party. The party, which starts at 7 p.m., includes 1 1/2-hour cocktail party with seafood bar, pasta station and hot and cold hors d'oeuvres, a five-course gourmet sit down dinner with Viennese dessert table, and top-shelf open bar all night. The Killer Joe Orchestra and a DJ will perform. Tickets are $140. Overnight stay packages start at $540 per couple.

Indian Wells Tavern in Amagansett will be hosting a New Year’s Eve dinner, starting at 5 p.m. There will be two courses available for $25 or three courses for $28, which includes any dessert off the menu. For the full menu, click here.

• The Nancy Atlas Project will take the stage at the Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett for its New Year's Eve celebration, starting at 9 p.m. Price: $25.

Nick & Toni’s in East Hampton will be open for New Year's Eve with dinner being served from 6 to 10 p.m. Reservations are suggested. The menu includes Shaved House-Made Foie Gras Torchon for $21 and Fennel Dusted Veal Loin with wild mushrooms, sunchokes and truffle vinaigrette for $38.

Harbor Grill in East Hampton is hosting a New Year's party, starting at 8:30 p.m. The $75 admission includes four-hour open bar, appetizers and buffet, New Year's party favors, and music by DJ Jim.

Rowdy Hall in East Hampton is offering some a la carte specials on New Year's Eve for both lunch and dinner. Dinner items include a truffle potato soup for $8, poached seafood salad for $14, and whole suckling pig with shaved brussels sprouts, apples and sweet and sour winter squash pickles for $28. Rowdy will also be open on New Year's Day.

The Palm in East Hampton is offering a three-course dinner on New Year's Eve. The first course is a choice of Caesar salad, mixed green salad, roasted beet salad, or chopped tomato and onion salad. The second course includes the "Palm Classic" Surf & Turf: 1/2 broiled jumbo Nova Scotia lobster (4 pounds) and choice of 1/2 Prime New York Strip (18 ounces) or 1/2 Filet Mignon (14 ounces) with your choice of individual side. Desserts are Amaretto Creme, Brulee, or New York Style Cheesecake. Price: $125.

The Living Room at c/o The Maidstone will celebrate New Year’s Eve with two seatings. The first will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and the second will be from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. A six-course tasting menu will be available for $125 per person, as well as the a la carte menu. Wolffer Estate Vineyard's Hidden Cellar Society, a wine club for 21 to 35-year-olds, presents its first annual New Year's Eve party. Starting at 9:30 p.m., the party includes champagne toast and vine lighting at midnight, passed desserts, open wine bar, DJ, and live broadcast of Times Square. There will also be a special surprise. Admission: $75 for Hidden Cellar members, $85 for friends and guests. Tickets can be purchased online.

Almond in Bridgehampton will host a special four-course prix fixe menu on New Year’s Eve, starting at 9 p.m. The evening features a Champagne toast and party favors. For the full prix fixe menu, click here. The a la carte menu will be offered earlier in the evening. Price: $85

Muse in the Harbor has two seatings on New Year's Eve — 5 to 6:30 p.m. at $55 per person for a three-course prix fixe, or 8:30 p.m. to midnight at $85 per person, which includes a four-course prix fixe, DJ and a midnight champagne toast. Reservations are suggested.

Seasons of Southampton, in Southampton Village, is celebrating with a package that's $100 per person. It includes open top shelf premium bar, a buffet of lobster, rack of lamb, jumbo shrimp, sea bass, grilled rib eye, ceviche, sushi, and raw bar.

75 Main in Southampton Village will serve a five-course prix fixe dinner. Jim Turner and his band will perform, in addition to three DJs. Dinner is $55 per person, including a glass of champagne.

Southampton Social Club in Southampton Village has several packages to chose from on New Year's Eve. There will be passed and stationary hors d'oeuvres, Champagne toast at midnight, assorted party favors, and live coverage of the ball drop from Times Square and DJ Steven Paul spinning all night long. The Silver Package for $95, which includes four-hour top shelf open bar from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. The Gold Package is $140, and includes a four-course dinner presented by award winning Chef Scott Kampf with wine and cocktails included throughout dinner service. Menu is available here. Seatings begin at 7 p.m. The Platinum Package, which costs $200, also includes a table to party at all night long including bottle service, one bottle of premium liquor and Champagne.

• The Southampton Inn will host a five-course dinner, which includes open bar, dessert, and midnight Champagne toast, and dancing from 11:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. Overnight accomodations are available. Guests will be served hot cider at check-in, and plated hors d'oeuvres will be served in the library from 5 to 8 p.m.
