Report: Brew-Master Hits Amagansett
Jack Mazzola opens third Jack's Stir Brew on Main Street.
has found a permanent home in Amagansett, bringing a new twist to the coffee scene thanks to a unique brew method, TheFeast.com reports.
Nearly nine years ago, Jack Mazzola, then a struggling actor with a few roles in daytime soaps, invented and patented a special brew machine that models the french press.
Mazzola opened his first coffee shop in Manhattan's Greenwich Village. He followed with a spot in the South Street Seaport, and last summer a temporary "pop-up" coffee bar in Amagansett. Early this year he jumped on a permanent location in Amagansett Square, and helped design a nautical-themed brew house.
