Readers' Choice: Favorite Chinese Restaurant

This week Patch wants to know which local take-out place is your go-to.

Every community is home to several Chinese restaurants and local residents are passionate about which is their favorite. This week East Hampton Patch wants to know which local Chinese restaurant you run to when looking to get your take-out fix.

We’ve highlighted a few choices below. If we’ve missed one, let us know in the comments section.

Readers’ Choice is a new weekly feature where we ask you — our readers — to tell us your top picks on the businesses and local attractions that get your loyalty.

Each Monday we’ll list our recommendations and on Friday we’ll tabulate all of the poll votes, comments, recent directory reviews and emails and crown a Readers' Choice.

Please only vote once in the poll, because any attempt to game the results could end up in your favorite businesses being disqualified.

Here are our nominees:

  • , Amagansett
  • , East Hampton
  • , Wainscott
  • , East Hampton
  • , Montauk

Voting results posted in real time shall not be deemed official until Patch has reviewed and confirmed all of the votes.

Best Taste gets my vote - best dumplings out here on the East End! Also very good General Tso's Chicken.

On Facebook, Sam Lester said, "Golden sun/best taste." But, Richard Dunn said they are all second rate...

As a large family, we love Phoenix. It is the only affordable place in town for us to take our entire brood to. The service is always excellent and the food is great. We can all have a night out, eat well (family of 7) and Mom can even have a Mai Tai - for far, far under $100! They have our loyalty for dine-in!

Yes, what Mike said! We love Phoenix for a place to take the kids! They always treat us well.

Love Chen's Garden! ALways fresh, people there are always nice, fast in and out!

When "Best Taste" was called "Golden Sun," they were good... but got considerably worse the last year or so of "Golden Sun." I'm not a fan of "Best Taste." I admit that I haven't tried Chen's Garden for a few years now, but I was not a fan the last time I did. As for China Town, they can squeak by, but still are not particularly great. Of the three, they're the biggest pain to get to as well, b/c you have to mess around with Newtown. Gotta agree with the facebook post... they are all pretty second rate.
