New Businesses to Check Out Memorial Day Weekend 2013

These new businesses came onto the scene since your last Memorial Day trip.

So Memorial Day weekend is finally here and despite the not-so-great forecast, you're ready to kick it off just like in previous years.

But, wait! The area has welcomed some new businesses to the area since the last Memorial Day celebration. Take a look at some of them here before you get into your normal routines.

MONTAUK

• 360° East Opens At Montauk Downs: The ballroom at Montauk's Robert Trent Jones-designed golf course re-opened in early April under a new name.
• Mexican Restaurant Opens on Montauk Highway: Tacombi Montauk, aka La Brisa, opens up this weekend.

EAST HAMPTON
• Steph's Stuff Moves Up the RoadAfter 18 years on Newtown Lane in East Hampton Village, Steph's Stuff has moved up the street into a bright, airy space on The Circle, next to Blue & Cream and behind Chase Bank.
• Serena & Lily Opens First Store in Wainscott: Serena & Lily – textile design company with collections of home decor, including bedding, upholstery, furniture, and women's accessories – opened its first shop in the location that housed Georgica Creek Antiques for 30 years.
• Highway Diner & Bar Rides into Wainscott: Setting up shop in the former Rugosa space on Montauk Highway, this restaurant opened up over the winter.
• Outdoors Store Moves to East Hampton: After opening up in Amagansett 15 years ago, Barry Adelman's Outdoor store moved to East Hampton Village during the off-season, to Park Place. It was replaced by Encore Sports earlier this month.

SOUTHAMPTON
• Hamptons Coffee Company Opens Third LocationWith locations in Westhampton Beach and Water Mill, the local grinders opened up a third spot right in between on County Road 39A in Southampton.
• Juice Press Opens in Southampton VillageThis business that sells raw juice and smoothies as well as raw food is expected to open this weekend on Main Street.
• New Restaurant Coming to Capri: Nobu is out and BLT Steak is in at the bathing and club.
• Isaac Mizrahi Pop--UpFashion designer and television personality Isaac Mizrahi is opening a clothing pop-up shop in Southampton Village.
• Shari's Place, Women's Boutique, OpensThe retailer behind an independent women's apparel boutique that opened on the Gold Coast in 1979 is now preparing to debut a sister shop in the Hamptons.
• Italian Brand Opens First U.S. Shop in Southampton: Missoni, an Italian fashion brand, has opened its first home furnishing shop in the U.S. — and Southampton Village's Jobs Lane was chosen as the best spot for this new venture.
• Flying Point Women's Children's Shops Change Digs: Flying Point Surf Boutique and Flying Point Groms has moved locations – a few doors down, to 79 Main St. – and renamed itself to Flying Point Surf & Sport.
• Joe Fresh Opens on Jobs Lane: Men and women's clothing and swimwear brand Joe Fresh has opened at 66 Jobs Lane, next to The Drivers Seat.

EAST QUOGUE
• La Lanterna Out, The Station In: A new 80-seat restaurant is taking the place of La Lanterna. The Station will focus on locally-sourced products, according to its owners.
• New Deli Opens With a TwistBeach Side Bagel Cafe, formerly the Bagel Palace, opened in early April, offering bagels, wine and cheese.

WESTHAMPTON BEACH
• New Fish Market Replaces Old One: Sherins Seafood Market stepped into the place formerly held by Beth's Seafood on Parlato Place.
• Psychic Sees Future in Hamptons: Jessica Lee – who said she is "known as Greenwich's psychic for the elite" – opened up three locations: East Hampton, Hampton Bays, Westhampton Beach.
