Inlet Seafood on the Market for $21 Million

Real estate agency says seven-acre property can be turned into private residence or yacht club.

, at the head of the harbor in Montauk, is on the market for $21 million.

Located at 541 East Lake Drive, the property has the largest commercial fishing dock on the East End at 200 feet with more than 28 deep water boat slips, according to Commercial Real Estate of Long Island.

In a statement on Thursday, the agency said the property also includes a restaurant and bar, which has 100 seats on two floors with both indoor and outdoor dining, as well as a separate 800-square-foot retail "mini-market," a 2,700-square-foot dock building, ice plant and diesel storage facility for 12,000 gallons.

"Inlet Seafood is one of the most important and unique waterfront properties in Montauk and is available for sale for the very first time," the statement read adding that there are many options for a buyer including building a private yachting club or marina or private residence.

Known for its fresh fish and sushi, Inlet Seafood overlooks Montauk Harbor and Block Island Sound and has views of Gardiner's Island, Plum Island and Gosman's Dock across the channel.
