Solé East Resort presents “Surf Movie Sunday” with a viewing of “Shelter: A Surf Movie by Chris Malloy and Taylor Steele,” June 17 at 8:30 p.m., weather permitting. Attendance at the film, which will be shown outdoors on the patio, is free and open to the public. “Shelter: A Surf Movie by Chris Malloy and Taylor Steele” is Woodshed Films’ (www.woodshed.com) third Moonshine Experiment surf movie. Shelter follows professional surfers Rob Machado and Shane Dorian as they transform an old Australian farmhouse into a surfers’ paradise. Expelling all competitive and commercial aspects of surfing and focusing more on the soul of surfing, Machado and Dorian are joined by fellow professional surfers Kelly Slater, Joel Tudor, Mick Fanning, The Malloy brothers and more. The soundtrack features artists such as Mason Jennings, The Shins and White Buffalo.
