Harbor Grill Hosts Travis Field Memorial Scholarship Fundraiser

Harbor Grill will host a special fundraiser on Sunday, August 7 in honor of Travis Field to help raise funds for the Travis Field Memorial Scholarship.  The “Bracket Bash” will start at 7 p.m. and includes a dinner buffet and live music.  There is a $15 cover charge at the door, per person.  A cash bar will also be available.

Travis Field, an avid athlete, was born and bred in East Hampton’s Springs where he lived until his death in 2008.  The 2006 East Hampton High School graduate played baseball for the Bonackers before joining East Hampton and Sag Harbor adult baseball leagues.  This year, four graduating seniors from his alma mater were awarded the Travis Field Memorial Scholarship.

 The “Bracket Bash” is part of the 4th Annual Travis Field Memorial Softball Tournament, to be held from August 11 to August 14 at the Terry King Softball Field on Abrahams Path in Amagansett, which will also benefit the Travis Field Athletic Scholarship.
