Christmas Eve Prix Fixe at The Living Room

The Living Room Restaurant at c/o The Maidstone will offer a Christmas Eve and Day prix fixe,, in addition to the a la carte menu, on Saturday, December 24 and Sunday December 25 at 5:30 p.m.  The three-course prix fixe menu is $85, half priced for children, and offers a choice at each course featuring holiday specialties. Choices include:

*Wild mushrooms with a brandy truffle cream on toasted brioche

*Peconic Pride oysters with champagne mignonette and caviar

*House made country paté with pickled vegetables and Swedish mustard

*Pork rilletes ravioli with tomato bacon broth and Vasterbotten cheese

 

ENTRÉE

*Grilled venison loin with braised red cabbage, candied sweet potatoes and port wine sauce

*Long Island duck with parsnip pureé, leek tart and lingonberry demi-glaze

*Local fluke with baby shrimp, winter root vegetables and dill beurre blanc

*Grilled Delmonico steak with potato leek gratin, caramelized brussel sprouts and sauce bordelaise

“Veal Oscar” with butter poached lobster, asparagus, potato cake and sauce béarnaise

 

DESSERT

*Sticky toffee date cake with elderberry flower frozen yogurt

*Mormor’s cookie plate selection

*Chocolate chestnut torte with Chantilly cream

*Apple cranberry crisp with cinnamon streusel and vanilla ice cream

*Swedish soft ginger cake with mascarpone mousse
