Benefit Cocktail Party/Dinner for the Choral Society of the Hamptons

A benefit cocktail party and dinner at the Palm restaurant in East Hampton will follow. The cocktail party is $75, and the cost of cocktails and dinner is $200. It will begin at about 6:30 p.m.

Beforehand, the Choral Society of the Hamptons will be presenting “Music of Three Centuries” at the East Hampton Presbyterian Church on March 18 at 5 p.m.

Jesse Mark Peckham, who is the director of the New York City based a cappella ensemble Khorikos, will conduct the 60-member chorus in John Rutter’s Requiem, and works by Mozart, Faure, and others. Silvie Jensen perform soprano soloists. South Fork Chamber Ensemble players, on harp, flute, oboe, glockenspiel, cello, and timpani, will augment the chorus, with Thomas Bohlert, music director of the church, at the organ.
