C. Wonder Pop-up Coming in Time for Memorial Day

Chris Burch's brand will open an outpost in East Hampton Village.

A store designed to outfit women for a summer by the sea and to provide wares for entertaining or hostess gifts is popping up in East Hampton Village on Memorial Day weekend for a season-long stay.

Chris Burch's C. Wonder carries clothing and accessories, as well as housewares and home decor among other products, all in vibrant colors. According to the company, the average product at a C. Wonder store costs less than $50.

One of C. Wonder's specialties is monogramming and personalization of items such as purses.

C. Wonder originated in Manhattan in 2011. In 2012, the brand made its first foray into the Hamptons with a summer pop-up on Main Street in Southampton Village, which has returned in 2013.

Though the East Hampton pop-up is still being readied for its debut, the company states that customers can expect a “classic seaside American aesthetic” with a nautical theme that includes colorful anchors on the bead board paneled walls.

C. Wonder stores have mobile points of sale, so clerks can check-out customers anywhere in the store, without customers having to make a trip to the counter and wait on line.

The pop-up will be located at 48 Main Street, East Hampton Village.
