10 Places To Grab Wine This Holiday Season

The complete list of liquor stores near you.

Whether you are looking to purchase a bottle for a hostess gift at an upcoming holiday party, or a case to help ring in 2011, the local shops have you covered.

1. Starting in Montauk this year, offers a wide variety of local wines, sparkling wines, and champagnes. They are open Monday through Thursday from 9:00.m. to 6:30pm; Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., even on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.

2. has a large selection of specials this holiday season -- too many to name, actually. The store has plenty of pinot noir, proseccos and even some Rosés left over from the season. They invite you to stop on in - they are open until 8 p.m. on the weekends, 7 p.m. on the weekdays, and on New Year's Eve and Christmas Eve until 8 p.m., too.

3. On Montauk Highway, right before the stretch, in Amagansett has top shelf pinot noir, along with different makes of pinot grigio and white zinfandel on sale through out the holiday season. There are specials on champagne, such as Veuve Clicquot champagne for $39.99 (regularly priced at $46.99) and Roederer Estate champagne, which is now $22.99. They also offer a 20 percent discount on a case. They are open everyday of the year except Christmas and Christmas Eve until 9 p.m.

4. Amagansett Wines & Spirits is keeping its regular hours from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, but will be closing at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Sundays it is open from noon to 5 p.m. The store offers 20 percent of per case.

5. If you can't make it to the liquor store, have them come to you. in East Hampton offers free local delivery and also ships nationwide (shipping charges apply if you're not in Bonac). The store is open late, 10 to 8 Monday through Saturday and 12 to 6 on Sunday.

6. will be open Friday and Saturday before until 9 p.m.

7. will be open New Year's Day, but closed on Christmas. It will keep regular business hours the rest of the time.

8. in East Hampton is a must stop on your holiday shopping list if you are looking for a kosher or organic wine. The store also offers 10 percent off on a half-case (six bottles) and 15 percent off on a full case. There will also be plenty of weekly specials on sparking wines and proseccos.

9.  has a wide variety of premium wines and carries a large selection of Long Island wines and organic wines. In addition to extended holiday hours, the store also sells many gift sets of liquors and glasses.

10. has a friendly and courteous staff that will assist you in finding your favorite wine. Unfortunately they weren't around when we called or were busy helping a customer.

11.  is conveniently located in the Red Horse Plaza in East Hampton and has a great club membership. Sign up for free and get 10 percent of loose bottles and 20 percent of cases of wine. They also have an "old and rare" room worth checking out.

12. in Wainscott, is a top-notch stop for wine this holiday season. You can get 20 percent off if you purchase any case of wine and they are offering specials on Veuve Clicquot through the holidays. They will be open on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Correction: Hampton Wines & Liquors won't be open on Christmas Day afterall.
