East Hampton High School Principal Adam Fine and Student Association president Melanie Mackin took a special flight this morning -- an honor flight. Accompanying local WWII veterans, the two flew to Washington D.C., joining the former troops in seeing the memorials in the nation's capital. "Honor Flight paid for Melanie's trip," Mr. Fine said. "This is a very important and poignant way of honoring our veterans." The two will return this evening.
