School Store Stocks Up

New items, with new lower prices, available at the East Hampton High School store.

Whether it's pajama pants, water bottles, hoodies, or knapsacks, the East Hampton High School store, located in the front hallway, has something for everyone in the school colors of maroon and gray.

"We have some new items in too, with a lower price point," said Janine Lalia, a family and consumer science teacher who also runs the store. New items include a knitted headband/earwarmer, a new hoodie with a lower price ($30 instead of $47), new sweatpants in new styles, and drawstring knapsacks.

"We're looking at thermal shirts, and maybe fleece," Ms. Lalia said. She is also looking for a student with design ideas -- maybe for another logo that can join the Bonacker with his rake to help represent the school.

The store is open on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:20 until 7:40 in the morning, but Ms. Lalia hopes that if she can team up with some students and possibly other teachers, the hours will be expanded. "There used to be a store activity club, but there isn't one this year," she said.

The East Hampton High School store takes cash or checks for purchases.
