Due to the storm and the ongoing recovery efforts, school will be cancelled until Monday. Unfortunately, that includes the performances this weekend of George Bernard Shaw's "Pygmalion" at East Hampton High School.
It seems as if all the school districts on the South Fork (with the exception of Bridgehampton) are closed due to transportation issues (flooded roads, downed wires, and other dangers at bus stops and routes) and the continued use of the schools as Red Cross shelters.
