Free Cyber-Bullying Workshop

East Hampton High School hosts a free workshop on cyber-bullying next Monday at 6 p.m.

On Dec. 3, the high school is hosting a program on the hazards of social networking and cyber-bullying, led by Sal Lifrieri, president of Protective Countermeasures and Consulting and former director of Security and Intelligence Operations for New York City’s Office of Emergency Management during Rudy Giuliani’s administration. Parents and guardians are encouraged to bring their children to the talk, which is designed to be appropriate for students in grades 8 through 12. It is up to each individual parent whether to bring their younger children.

The program begins at 6 p.m. in the high school auditorium, beforehand there will be a brown-bag get-together, led by Principal Adam Fine, in the school library at 4:30 p.m.
