Adult Education -- From Art to Excel

Adult Education classes begin in March. Check the EHUFSD website for course details.

The East Hampton Union Free School District's Adult Education program will offer a six-week session from March 12 to April 18, featuring course offerings like Basic Drawing with gallery owner and artist Karyn Mannix, Bridge with East Hampton School Board president George Aman, and Tina Giles's Prelicensing Course.

KarenLise Bjerring, a Microsoft Certified Computer Systems Engineer, is offering a host of computer classes, like Photoshop Elements, Intro to Excel, Intro to Quickbooks, and even Becoming Computer Friendly.

Helen Mendes and Charla Bikman, both experienced ESL teachers, are leading a series of English as a Second Language classes, including a Citizenship Test Prep class, and Teaching English as a Foreign Language, along with Intermediate and Advanced ESL.

John Wallace of Roy Reeve Insurance will teach the ever-popular Defensive Driving course, which can remove points off your license and reduce your insurance premium.

The full roster of courses is available on the www.ehufsd.org website, under "Links." There will also be print-outs available at the District Office and the East Hampton Library beginning Feb. 11.
