Mother’s Day Activities in the Hamptons

If you haven’t firmed up your Mother’s Day plans yet (yes, it’s this Sunday, May 12!), relax. The coming weekend in the Hampton’s is full of events and activities mom will enjoy. The weekend also offers unique opportunities to pick up one-of-a-kind gifts to show mom how much you appreciate her.

  • Exercise with mom at the Peconic Landing 8th Annual May Mile and 5K Race from 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday in Greenport.
  • Accompany mom to Your Garden Month by Month: Planting for Summer Bounty from 10-11:30 a.m. Saturday at Bridge Gardens in Bridgehampton. Garden manager Rick Bogusch will share everything you need to know about vegetable gardening.
  • Stop by the Westhampton Beach Farmer’s Market , 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday in the Westhampton Beach village parking lot on Mill Road to select seedlings for mom’s garden.
  • Treat mom to the 4th Annual Tour of Southampton Houses  on Saturday from 1-4:30 p.m. The tour features five of Southampton’s most exclusive homes.
  • Treat mom to a scrumptious Sunday brunch at the Southampton Inn, in the historic village of Southampton. Or brunch by the water at Dockers Waterside Restaurant  in East Quogue. Sunday evening Dockers will serve a special Grand Surf & Turf Dinner.
  • Let mom choose her own gift at the Southampton Antiques Fair, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday on the lawn of White House on Main Street in Southampton.
To experience life in the Hampton’s contact Bill Williams at Sotheby’s  International Realty for exclusive properties for sale
