For eight years, Mama Lee Rose and Friends have combined down home cooking with down home music in East Hampton on Friday nights at the recently renovated .
"I think we're good for each other," Mama Lee said on a recent Friday.
"I hope everyone out there has as much fun as we do."
Live music also lit up Springs from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, with local vocalist Monica Hughes singing at . Owner Nicole O'Donnell only recently started offering live music.
Further East, at in Montauk, former Gypsy King band members Cristo and Rafel Cintron played as a live duo at 10 p.m.
