PHOTOS: Gallery Valentine Kicks Off Art Southampton

The official host gallery for Art Southampton builds anticipation for the July art fair.

Gallery Valentine in East Hampton, the host gallery of Art Southampton, celebrated its new space June 15 with a pre-party for the art fair coming up in July.

Art Southampton, which is returning for its second summer, is an international modern and contemporary art fair under a tent on the fairgrounds of the Southampton Elks Lodge. It is bringing more than 90 galleries from all over the world to Southampton from July 25 to 29.

The fair benefits Southampton Hospital, both financially and by donating the use of its tent to the hospital’s annual summer party, which is a major fundraising event for the emergency department.
