Montauk Chamber's 30th Fall Festival

The will hold its 30th annual two day annual Fall Festival fundraiser on Oct. 8 and 9 on the village green.

Both days include many activities for children, such as a free 30 horse Carousel, inflatable rides, face painting, pumpkin decorating, crab races and more. For adults there will be live music a wheel of chance, a farmers market and plant sales, raffles, October-fest style food, clams and oysters on the half, wine and beer. New this year will be a wheel of chance to win great prizes and other surprise events.

Saturday's activities also include the Famous Clam Chowder Contest with food personality judges from the local newspapers will award best New England and Manhattan chowders. There will also be a People’s Choice Award. Winners will be announced at 3pm and on the website.

On Sunday, the festival will include activities under a tent including the Annual Chinese Auction by the Montauk Playhouse. 

When the festival is over, the "Cash Catch" with over $29,000 in cash prize money possibly given out will be announced.

Money raised benefits the Frank Cappozola Scholarship Fund, Montauk Fireworks, the Montauk Food Pantry, the Montauk Historical Society Lighting of the Lighthouse and other local needs.
