Mid Summer Art Show

The Community Arts Project will present a mid-summer art show.It is a multi-medium show that showcases a wonderful diversity in our talented art community.Its sure to be a welcome break from the heat so come, have a glass of lemonade, relax, and enjoy some fine art.

Harriet Rugg's photography is influenced by her love of the water, be it here in East Hampton, Rincon PR. or Riverside Drive. She has an eye for beauty and knows how to capture it on paper and canvas. She also makes greeting cards and handmade picture frames of mulberry paper.

Hope and Betsy Harris is a mother and daughter team. Betsy was born in California, but spent most of her time in the mid-west and west. She's a self-taught watercolorist and has won several awards in San Antonio, Phoenix, and Shelter Island.

Hope Harris has been painting since 2008.She's a watercolorist and also teaches classes in fictional writing.

David Stiles is an architectural designer, and illustrate and has written and illustrated 21 books. His love of building things led him to building tree houses as well as projects for the weekend carpenter. His book "Tree houses You Can Actually Build" received the ALA Notable Children's Book Award. His wife Jeanie has co-authored many books with him. Their books have won other awards and they've been in several magazine publications. Their books have sold over a million copies.

RJT(Toby) Haynes is from Cornwall, England and he'll be represented here by Jeanie Stiles. He's in many private and public collections in the UK and the US. His mediums include oils, pastels, watercolor, and charcoal. Its a treat to have his work with us. Toby is also a talented poet.
