"LUV" is a comedy written by Murray Schisgal that will run from June 7-July 1, under the direction of Lonny Price, and will star Kahan James, Robert Stanton, and Jennifer Regan.
Guild Hall describes the play as:
"Two college friends – misfit Harry and materialistic Milt – are serendipitously reunited when the latter stops the former from jumping off a bridge. Each tries to top the other as they trade hysterically funny, hard-luck stories…and Harry suddenly finds himself as the solution to Milt’s most vexing question…how to get rid of his wife Ellen."
According to Guild Hall, "LUV" is responsible for igniting the acting careers of Alan Arkin, Anne Jackson, and Eli Wallach. The play opened on Broadway in 1964, and was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Play in 1965.
