"Lily In The Sky With Kindness," is the story of a dachshund who travels with Jonathan Glynn of Sag Harbor to earthquake stricken Haiti to aid in disaster relief. The book was conceived and illustrated by Arkansas folk artist Jayne Lakhani. Sylvester & Co. in Sag Harbor will host a book signing event with Glynn and Lily. The reception will feature a “paw signing” by Lily, as well as readings by members of , the Sag Harbor based youth group dedicated to philanthropic endeavors.
In support of an attempt to raise $70,000 for the completion of a new school, Sylvester & Co. will donate 25 percent of the proceeds of the sale of their heirloom Good Dog bowls on display over the holiday weekend.
Purchases ($20) of the book will benefit Glynn's organization Wings Over Haiti. Tee Shirts for children and adults will also be available.
