Local college students, Sarina Peddy and Hannah Thomas will co-chair a booth at St. Luke’s Church Lawn Fair on Saturday, August 6th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm to honor their roommate, Stephanie Crispinelli who passed away in the Haiti earthquake in January of 2010.

The booth supports Stephanie’s Mission--a cause her parent’s have established which commits it’s self to helping children in need around the globe. Over the past year Stephanie’s Mission has built “Steph’s Place” a school in Racecourse, Jamaica giving almost 90 pre-school children an opportunity for an education.

Stephanie’s Mission has also provided various scholarships for students seeking to follow in Stephanie’s footsteps on similar trips and established ‘Steph’s Caring Bears’ which puts stuffed animals in the arms of sick children in hospitals around the nation. In addition, Stephanie’s Mission has partnered with Food For The Poor, the 3rd largest international relief agency in the United States.

So, come on down to support a great cause! Buy a raffle ticket for your chance to win wonderful prizes generously donated by local vendors or grab a balloon or a lollipop for the kids!

well after the town board meeting last night the way i see it is the whole town is affected andRead More everyting and everyweek is some one getting away with out paying , we have familys of teenagers sharing rooms with there parnets and siblngs , cause the cost of living , hmmm but no matter where you go it cost money , teachers have there work cut out for them if they have to spend 50 dollars to buy stuff its there choice , well what it boils down to is the childern parnetns rather drive cars and have nice clothes and fancy jelws than spend 5 or 1o dollars to pay for pens for there kids to go to schoo.also i dont feel the familys see what education really is is a free babysitting service thats my feelings ,
