Applications are being accepted for Hamptons Music Sessions (HMS), the first top-tier music camp designed for young people residing in the Hamptons, until June 15. The first 10 students to apply are eligible for financial assistance. The camp launches August 5-11, 2012. It is the first and only day camp in the area that is designed specifically for music, grades K-12. The camp was founded this year by virtuoso pianist, two-time Pianofest performer, Juilliard graduate and music educator Theresa Kim.

HMS is a one-week program that combines the imaginative and fun experiences of making music with fostering friendships with exchange students from all over the world, particularly those from underdeveloped countries who are brought to the U.S. on HMS scholarships.

HMS offers courses in piano, violin, viola, cello, guitar, clarinet, saxophone, flute, voice, and composition/song-writing. The curriculum is designed by a team of experts to provide an invigorating summer music experience. Classes include lessons, chamber music ensembles, yoga, performance etiquette, and World Music listening, to name a few. Performance opportunities are also provided.

Where: St. Luke's Episcopal Church (18 James Lane, East Hampton).

Students are offered pickup/dropoff car service at the beginning and end of each day at about 8 am and 3pm. Lunch, snacks, and study materials are all-inclusive in the tuition.

For applications and information contact Theresa Kim www.hamptonsmusic.org. 631 405-0166.
