Weather permitting, a Christmas celebration will be held at the Montauk Lighthouse in the day following the Lighting of the Lighouse. Hot cider and snacks will be served, the gift shop will be open for holiday shopping, and children can be photographed with Santa Claus. There will also be pony rides. The tower climb will be closed, however. In the event of rain or if the Lighting was canceled on Saturday, it will be held on Dec. 5.
