artists on artists visit+discussion of exhibit at SOLAR

Continuing the artists on artists series hosted with each exhibition, SOLAR will have Riverhead-based artist Andrea Cote leading a visit of the current exhibition Accumulations, with works by Venezuelan/Brooklyn-based artist, Esperanza Mayobre and Colombian/Miami-based artist Gonzalo Fuenmayor.  The visit+discussion is a lively exchange of thoughts and information about the artwork on view, made more dynamic through the contributions of the artist colleague leading the tour, along with the always enlightening reactions and appreciations of the public.  Esperanza Mayobre will be in attendance to add to the discussion and respond to any questions about her work, and Esperanza Leon, SOLAR owner/director will also contribute reflections on the works on paper and sculpture selected for the show.
