Despite Stern's Support, Hamptons Studio Misses Out on America's Got Talent
Report says radio celebrity Howard Stern wanted to shoot in East Hampton, but producers opted for New York City instead.
Television talent show America's Got Talent was pretty close to being filmed at after the move picked up the support of shock-jock celebrity Howard Stern, only to be shot down by producers.
According to the New York Post, Stern was hoping to get the show filmed in East Hampton through the summer, which would have been a lot closer to Stern's Southampton home. But executives favored New York City instead.
