Paton Miller's artwork reflects memories of places he has traveled to and people he has met. Miller's use of vibrant colors and strong earth tones evoke the warmth of fresco paintings. His painterly style is enhanced by scratches, visible underdrawings and outlining, resulting in a complex and dynamic image.
Miller's work is in the collections of the American Embassy in Abu Dhabi, the American Embassy in Bogota, Columbia, Heckscher Museum in Huntington, NY, Guild Hall in East Hampton, NY, the Parrish Art Museum in Southampton, NY and the William and Mary College in Virginia.
