What To Do With the Kids During the Break

From arts and crafts to tennis, there's plenty to do with kids during the February vacation.

Looking for something to do with the kids during the February school break? Look no further. There's plenty to do if you're spending the vacation on the South Fork.

Vacation Week Arts & Crafts Workshops

Guild Hall in East Hampton Village offers an arts class Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Alexandra McCourt will lead kids, ages 6 to 9, in a new project. Monday's theme is self portraits. Tuesday's is animals. Wednesday's is 3-D art. Thursday's is Op Art. Friday's is mixed media landscapes. Go for one day or the whole week. Price: $25/$23 members per day; $125/$115 members for the week

Mid-Winter Recess Family Time

The Montauk Library will have games and family fun on Tuesday from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Registration is appreciated but not required.

Hampton Kids

Make sand art and bake "Stained Glass" sugar cookies and homemade pizzas all week at Hampton Kids, at East Hampton Indoor Tennis in Wainscott. Children 4 to 12 can also sign up for a group tennis lesson afterwards. From Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to noon, or 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Price: Half-day $30 per session for members, $40 per session for non-members; Full day $70 for member, $100 for non-members

Presidents Story & Craft Time

The Amagansett Library will host a story and craft time for kids on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.

Goat on a Boat Puppet Theatre

A puppet show will be offered at the Montauk Library on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. Registration is appreciated but not required.
