What's Happening, What's Not, the Weekend After Sandy

Here's what we've heard about so far. Please, let us know if your event is on or off.

STILL ON

  • Amagansett Library's Parrish Art Museum workshops start Saturday. Sessions are full.
  • Girls Night Out at Gurney's Inn Resort & Spa is still on for Friday night at 7 p.m.
  • Pancake breakfast fundraiser for Tara Mansir's family, St. Luke's Episcopal Church, East Hampton, Sunday from 8 a.m. to noon.

Guild Hall in East Hampton presents Fiesta! with free admission on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. Here's the run down: 

  • 2pm – 4pm Arts and Crafts (for ages 5-10)
  • 2:30 – 3pm Gallery Talk with Frank Wimberley Winner of the 2010 Annual Guild Hall Members Exhibition
  • 3pm – 4pm The John Drew Theater presents Cuentos: Tales from the Latino World (for ages 3- 9) Starring Storyteller David Gonzalez

  • The Amagansett Library's Monster Hunt on Friday at 3:30 p.m., but Legos & Games are on instead.
  • The high school play "Pygmalion," which was supposed to happen throughout the weekend, was rescheduled for Nov. 9, 10, and 11.
  • The Wainscott Citizens Advisory Committee meeting, originally slated for Saturday, has been postponed until Nov. 10, at the Wainscott Chapel at 9 a.m.
  • Montauk PTA "Fall Fling" Fundraiser, scheduled for Saturday, at East by Northeast restaurant, has been cancelled.
