Hi Sandra, remember me. We go back a long time. You hired me for the Reader newspaper when it came to town. Odds are you are probably right. Your knowledge of Port Jeff. sounds right on. Best wishes.

Today, next to the law office on the corner is Dr. Rutters dentist office, which is the corner of Liberty Ave. before it goes past the High school and turns to Old Post Rd.. When I was a small boy there was a small grocery store on the opposite side of the road from the dentist. I believe the house that "Joecy" (only new her by her first name when I worked at ABI in the mid 80's, she was the accountant) lived in is the house that they moved across from the Village Hall, now being used by the village historical society. The lower right hand corner where there looks to be a shed is where the Lodge is today. Orrrrr Not??????????? I see it that way :)
