Montauk's Farmers Market takes place every Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the village green.
Laraine Creegan of the Montauk Chamber said that when the market began seven years ago, there were only six vendors meeting at a local church. Since moving spaces four years ago, the market has swelled to over eight different farms with vendors selling homemade pickles, peanut butter, cookies and fish.
