Tulip Cared for Kittens, Now She's Looking for Care

Named for a flower, she's dainty and pretty.

Tulip is just as pretty as the flower she's named after.

Tulip is a calico Domestic Shorthair that has been at the since she arrived nursing a litter of kittens in April.

The shelter staff thinks she's only about 1 year and 5 months old.

"She took excellent care of her babies and provided them with a lot of care and love," the staff said about her. "Now it is her turn for someone to give her all the love that she gave to them."

Tulip has since been spayed. She's also been microchipped and treated for fleas, ticks and parasites.

Weighing, just 6 pounds, she's also dainty.
