This Weekend: Katy's Courage, Ambulance-Bay Street Fundraiser

From a musical to a joint fundraiser in Sag Harbor, there's lots going on this weekend.

Friday

: The Springs Community Theater presents "Peter Pan," the musical, at Guild Hall in East Hampton Village. It opens Friday night at 8 p.m. More performance this weekend and next weekend.

Saturday

Katy's Courage 5K: The third annual Katy's Courage 5K, in honor of Katy Stewart, a North Haven resident who succumbed to a rare form of pediatric liver cancer in 2010 at the age of 12, starts on West Water Street in Sag Harbor at 8:30 a.m. Registration opens at 7 a.m. Price: Day-of registration is $30.

Designer Sample Sale: Cocktail and day dresses, prom gowns, dresses, leather handbags, wallets, makeup and accessories and more will be up for grabs at this sale, held at 4 Gunpowder Ln. in East Hampton, starting at 9 a.m.

Settler's Landing Six Family Yard Sale: Household items, linens, kids stuff, costume jewelry, lawn mower, clothes dryer, new designer samples, new prom and cocktail dresses, handbags, table top items, refrigerator, cosmetics, quilt sets, fireplace accessories and more will be sold, starting at 9 a.m.

Women's Guild Rummage Sale: The Women's Guild at the Montauk Community Church will hold a rummage sale with a large selection of women's, men's and children's clothing, household items, handmade rugs, baby items, toys and much more. Stop by between 9 a.m. and noon.

Let's Start Cooking: Astro's Pizza and Felice's Ristorante in Amagansett will hold a children's cooking class at 11 a.m. Children must be 7 to 10 years old. Early Registration is suggested. Price: $15

Hamptons Au Pair Fair: Au pairs from 13 countries will entertain children with games, crafts, food and more at the Bridgehampton Community House from 2 to 5 p.m. To learn more, click here.

Sharing Music with Lori Hubbard: Sing along with songs to celebrate Earth Day. This program at the Montauk Library is for preschool to third grade. It begins at 3:30 p.m.

From Egg to Chick: With the help of the Cornell Cooperative Extension, children will explore the life cycle of the chicken and learn how the chick embryo develops inside the egg at the Amagansett Library. The session begins at 3:30 p.m.

The Community Arts Project Presents The Town Crier Hugh King: Ask questions of the village historian and town crier at the Springs Community Presbyterian Church at 4 p.m. Tea and cookies will be served. Price: A $5 donation is requested.

Casino Night at Bay Street: This fun-filled night of "gambling" will benefit the Sag Harbor Volunteer Ambulance Corps, as well as Bay Street Theatre. The Casino Night will be held from 7 to 11 p.m. Price: $50 per person in advance or $60 at the door. Each ticket includes one free drink, free munchies at the bar and $200 in "Bay Street Bucks" to play your favorite games.

Student Film Project Screening and Awards Ceremony: The Student Film Project is held for the tenth year in conjunction with the Student Art Festival at Guild Hall. It features three age groups: Elementary Grades 2-4; Middle School Grades 5-8; and High School Grades 9-12. The films will be screened and awards will be presented, starting at 6:30 p.m.
