Tell Us: Where are the Worst Potholes in East Hampton?

Snow may be gone from the streets, but potholes are opening up in its place.

Just as apples and stripped bass have their prime season, so too do potholes. They are predictable, unavoidable and a sometimes dangerous rite of passage in East Hampton.

These gravelly, asphalt mini graves are the scourge of any commute, spilling coffee and jarring your teeth at every opportunity.

Area roads have taken a beating this winter with the freezing and unfreezing of asphalt, which creates stress, not to mention, the scrapping and pounding of snow plows as they cleared roadways after 'Hercules' dumped inches of snow earlier this month.

The net result: The roads in the area need fixing.

Patch is on a quest to uncover the worst potholes, so feel free to help us find them by sounding off in the comment section below.

If it's Town or Village you should report it to the highway depts. You are their eyes.

Don't they drive? Problem is it's a county road!

It's one thing to have easily-spotted potholes, but it's the "stealth" ones that that get me...like the basketball-sized one on Windmill Lane near the Town Lane intersection.
