Summer Comes To End with Main Beach Fireworks
The East Hampton Fire Department put on annual fireworks display.
The fireworks show at Main Beach in East Hampton Village went off on Saturday night, despite a busy week for the East Hampton Fire Department, which organizes the event. The fire department fought that week, in low-lying areas as Hurricane Irene approached the South Fork and responded to many calls in Irene's aftermath.
