St. Baldrick's Day: Volunteers Shed Hair for Cancer
Donations were collected to benefit St. Baldrick's Foundation whose motto is "Shaving the Way to Conquer Kids' Cancer."
In honor of the St. Baldrick's Foundation motto, "Shaving the Way to Conquer Kids' Cancer," volunteers stepped forward to have their heads shaved. Following the 10:30 a.m. service at in Montauk on Sunday, parishioners and other Montauk residents assembled in the auditorium across the street. Members of the Montauk Fire Department and their families were well represented, and were thrilled to participate.
