Service with Military Honors for Wesley Carrion Planned for Tuesday

Carrion, 90, died in Sag Harbor house fire Monday.

A service will be held for Wesley Carrion, the 90-year-old Sag Harbor man who died in a house fire last week, on Tuesday.

His daughter Robyn Hagans said a service with full military honors will be held at Calverton National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.

Carrion, a World War II veteran, was a major when he retired from the Army.

His family is planning a memorial service.

Carrion was found inside his house on Hillside Drive East that was ablaze on Sept. 30. Police believe the fire started with an electrical issue.
