Friends are still collecting donations for Wright's daughters,  Kiah, 23, and Laini, 18.  A fundraiser was held at the 668 Gig Shack on Wednesday evening to raise money for them.

Wright's husband Novell Wright died several years ago.

Wright was a teacher's aid at the Montauk School.

Velaine Pfund let us know that Kiah and Laini Wright's attorney Gordon Ryan is finalizing details for donations to be made, and asked that those who want to donate, just hold off a few more days. Also, a fundraiser will be held at Gurney's Inn on Nov. 15 between 7 and 9 p.m. There will be music, food, a Chinese auction and a 50/50 cash bar. The admission is $10 at the door and there will be a bucket to collect more donations. Thanks for letting us know!
