Santa Parade Winners Crowned

The best of the best in the on Saturday have been announced.

According to director Marina Van, the theme of the parade this year was "Holiday Around the World." She said, "It was heartening to see children participating on floats waving flags from many different countries."

But, the best had to be crowned. In the floats category, Girl Scouts Unit 63 took first prize. East Hampton Cub Scouts Pack 426 came in second, followed by the in third.

In the marching category, the Jazz Band was named the winner, followed by the East Hampton Kiwanis Club and the Band.

The judges were Carol Schnittlich, the vice president of the chamber, Linda Calder, the manager of the , and Christian Domeck, the manager of the .
