The first annual Taste of Montauk is sure to please your taste buds.
Tickets are still available for this event for foodies, scheduled for Sunday at 360º East, the new restaurant at Montauk Downs, between 6 and 9 p.m.
Taste fish tacos, lump crab cakes, lobster sliders, Long Island duck with faro and a chopped Tuscan kale salad, Ceviche Peconic bay scallops, baby shrimp, fluke, peppers, corn, and pineapple in a tomato juice marinade, fennel green peppercorn crusted tuna bites, just to name a few.
Participating restaurants and caters include 668 Gig Shack, Backyard at Sole East, East by Northeast, the Sea Grille at Gurney's Inn, Joni's, Luck J's, Montauk Shellfish Co., Gulf Coast Kitchen at Montauk Yacht Club, Sloppy Tuna, Swallow East, The Coast, and Turtle Cove Cafe.
Wine will be served from Duck Walk Vineyards, Macari Vineyards & Winery, Martha Clara Vineyards, Pindar Vineyards, Osprey's Vineyards and Wolffer. Blue Point Brewery will also be on hand.
Ocean Dream will perform.
Tickets are $55 in advance or $65 at the door. Tickets are available for purchase at the chamber office.
