Question of the Day: What Do You Think of 'Porno Paintings'?

Amagansett artist art has caused a stir in Manhattan.

The New York Post reported last week that a Manhattan gallery is under fire for exhibiting a South Fork artist's in view of school children.

Nick Weber's "Porno Paintings," being shown at Windows Gallery, were inspired by scenes from Internet pornography. Weber has a studio in Amagansett.

Since the exhibit went up two weeks ago, school officials, parents, and a nearby church have lodged complaints about the images, which include threesomes and hardcore pornographic scenes.
